World movie history

A movie also called a cinema, motion picture, or moving picture is a work of visual art used to simulate experiences that communicate ideas, stories, perceptions, feelings, beauty, or atmosphere through the use of moving images. These images are generally accompanied by sound, color, and more rarely, other sensory stimulation. The word "cinema", short for cinematography, is often used to refer to film-making and the movie industry, and to the art form that is the result of it.

Most of the studios such as Columbia Pictures, Disney, Paramount Pictures, Warner Bros., and Universal Pictures were founded in this place, Paramount still has there.

American film was incorporated as a municipality in 1903. Hollywood was consolidated with the city of Los Angeles in 1910 and soon thereafter a prominent cinema industry emerged, eventually becoming the most recognizable in the present world

Hindi movie or Bollywood

Hindi film, often known as Bollywood and formerly as Bombay film, is the Indian Hindi-language movie industry based in Mumbai (formerly Bombay). The term is added form of "Bombay" and "Hollywood". The industry is part of the larger Indian film—the world's largest by a number of feature movies produced, along with the film of South India and other Indian movie industries.

Early history (the 1890s–1940s)

In 1897, a movie presentation by Pro. Stevenson arranged a stage show at Calcutta's Star Theatre. With Stevenson's encouragement and camera, honorable Hiralal Sen, a photographer, made a cinema or film from scenes of that show, The Flower of Persia (1898). The Wrestlers (1899) by H. S. Bhatavdekar showed a fighting match at the Hanging Gardens in Bombay city.

Dadasaheb Phalke, examining a strip of movie

Dadasaheb Phalke is considered the father of Indian films, including Bollywood. Dadasaheb Phalke's silent Raja Harishchandra (1913) is the first feature movie made in India. By the 1930s, the industry was producing over 200 movies per year. The first Indian sound movie, Ardeshir Irani's Alam Ara (1931), was commercially successful. With a great demand for talkies and musicals, Bollywood and the other regional movie industries quickly switched to sound movies.

Bangla cinema

Bangla cinema has tow part

Bangladeshi cinema Dhallywood

The film of Bangladesh, better known as Dhallywood is the Bengali-language cinema industry based in Dhaka, Bangladesh. It has often been a significant cinema industry since the early 1970s. The dominant style of Bangladeshi film is a melodramatic film, which developed from 1947 to 1990 and characterizes most cinemas to this day. The film was introduced in Bangladesh in 1898 by the Bradford Bioscope Company, credited to have arranged the first cinema release in Bangladesh. Between 1913 and 1914, the first film production company, in the name Picture House, was opened. A 1928 short silent cinema titled Sukumari (The Good Girl) was the first Bengali-produced cinema in the region. The first full-length cinema, The Last Kiss, was released in 1931.

Following the separation of Bangladesh from Pakistan, Dhaka became the center of the Bangladeshi cinema industry and has generated the majority share of revenue, production, and audiences for Dhallywood cinemas. Mukhos O manush, the first Bengali-language full-length cinema from Fias produced in 1956. During the 1970s, many Dhallywood cinemas were inspired by Indian cinemas, with some cinemas being unofficial remakes of those cinemas. The industry continued to grow, and many successful Bangladeshi cinemas were produced throughout the 1970s, 1980s, and the first half of the 1990s.

Pakistan era
By 1947, there were around 80 films in Bangladesh. After the partition of India in 1947, there were efforts to turn Dhaka into East Bengal's cultural center, with various individuals like Abbasuddin Ahmed creating short-lived cinema production companies in the city. In March 1948, when the Governor-General of Pakistan Mohammad Ali Jinnah came to visit East Pakistan, the radio broadcaster and cinema maker Nazir Ahmed was commissioned to create the informational cinema In Our Midst with the help of Calcutta-based cinema technicians. It was the first informational cinema of Bangladesh.

West Bengal Tollywood

The origins of the nickname Tollywood which is an added form of two words Tollygunge and Hollywood dates back to 1932. It was a historically important cinema industry, at one time the center of Indian cinema production. The Bengali cinema industry is known for producing many of Indian film's most critically acclaimed global Parallel film and art cinemas, with several of its cinema makers gaining prominence at the Indian National cinema awards as well as international acclaim.

Hindi dubbed movie

Dubbing, translation, mixing, or re-recording, is a process after making film used in filmmaking and movie production in which associative or supplementary recordings are lip-synced and "mixed" with real production sound to create the complete soundtrack.

The first film to be dubbed in Hindi was Jurassic Park. Steven Spielberg was the director of the film, and he decided to launch the film in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu language. The film was opened in India on 15 April 1994.

Depending upon the film in context or a big-budget film, chances are that it will be dubbed within a few weeks of release or maybe a Hindi release will be aired in India officially as with most films now. But if it’s a small film or a film not popular in India, then it may take months or sometimes even years for it to be dubbed, or it may be never dubbed at all.
